  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

i'm sorry but since the big crash that killed dale sr. i really havent watched it that much, but in the end its changed to much.... They have spoilers that should be on hondas, they look like they took there cars to "ricersRus" and its boring "left straight left straight" but... the wrecks are still good, but few...

The BIG wreck that took Dale was big only in its impact on the sport and of course his life, the crash itself was quite mild.

The impact on the sport was huge this i will agree. The hit itself, I have to disagree. The camp site O20 is right in front of where Dale died, I happened to be there when it happened. Looked milded on TV but it really wasn't.

Really, good spot to watch, I was in the stands about 200 feet up the track, I've seen a bunch of wall hits over the years, my view was it was a light hit. The thing was that it was the worse type of hit for Dale's type of set up, seat, wheel, belts ,etc.

But again this was my observation, from my vantage point, you may have had a better angle.

No matter how many times they show that final accident of Dale Earnhardt's, I'm always shocked that he died in that...I've seen some bad accidents watching Nascar, and that one always seems so mild...I know he wasn't wearing the HANS device to protect his head and neck, he hated it...:rose:

It's time to go racing in Las Vegas, qualifying is this evening at 6:30 EST!!!:D

NASCAR finds 'issue' with 99 in post-race inspection

    By Joe Menzer, NASCAR.COM
    March 3, 2008
    10:50 AM EST

;LAS VEGAS -- Carl Edwards' Sprint Cup victory in the UAW-Dodge 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will stand, but he's likely to lose some of the driver and owner points he earned after NASCAR officials found "an issue" with his No. 99 Ford in post-race inspection late Sunday.

NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston said Edwards' car did not fail post-race inspection. But inspectors did find something amiss.
"We had an issue in post-race inspection with the 99. The lid on the oil reservoir encasement, or the oil tank box, was off," Poston said. "So we're going to take the 99 back to the [NASCAR] Research and Development Center in Concord, N.C., and if there are any actions that need to be taken, those will be taken and announced next week."
Earlier this season at Daytona International Speedway, NASCAR officials discovered five Nationwide Series cars to have a similar problem during post-race inspection following their season-opening race. Each of the teams eventually were docked 25 driver and 25 owner points.
Poston said the situation with Edwards' car was not quite the same.

"It was similar. In those cases, the lids were loose," Poston said. "The lid on the 99 was off."
Edwards has won the past two Sprint Cup races. His victory Sunday vaulted him and the No. 99 car to the top of the driver and owner point standings. He currently has 491 driver points and is 21 ahead of Kyle Busch, who is in second with 470.
Bob Osborne, Edwards' crew chief, said Sunday night that he would wait until after NASCAR is able to take a closer look at the car at the R&D Center before making any comments.
