Trevor Bauer's drone did some seriously disgusting damage to his finger
Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer suffered a bizarre injury last week to his finger while repairing a drone ahead of the biggest start of his MLB career.
Apparently, as he plugged in his drone, the propellers started turning at full speed and sliced his pinky finger. Bauer was supposed to start in Game 2, but that was pushed back to Monday's ALCS Game 3 because he needed to get stitches.
I'm not sure where that drone has been because it did something seriously concerning to Bauer's finger. The TBS broadcast zoomed in on his finger, which in turn caused its entire viewing audience to lose its appetite.
If you don't want to see something gross, don't continue reading because HIS FINGER IS SO GROSS.
I know. I KNOW. SO GROSS.
The issue for Bauer was that he couldn't wear any foreign substance over that finger, regardless of if it was on his pitching hand or not. He can't wear a bandage, tape, glue or a liquid bandage -- nothing. Bauer had that gross finger -- 10 stitches and all -- exposed, and he had to hope that those stitches remained intact while he pitched.
And, well, it didn't take long for that to become an issue. His stitches split in the first inning.
He had to leave the game in the first inning due to the blood.
