I was jock on one hand that drank a lot of beer and smoked a lot of pot. I had a rock hard body and a nice smile so the girls seemed to like me. I had sex with every hot girl in my grade except one and that one has haunted me since lol. I also had a lot of girls that were younger than me also. Went to lots of keg parties and high school girls like to fuck after a few beers, it was so easy to get laid. Where did those days go?

 

I was amongst the popular kids at school, though i was quite quiet i would often chat to anyone and everyone from different groups. I was easily coerced into being disruptive and was no stranger to being on report (having to be monitored every class) or frequenting the headmaster’s office. In 6th form a lot of the popular kids left and i was at the forefront of anything bad that went on in school (some days my name would be mentioned if something occured and i wasn’t even in) and eventually got an ultimatum of leave or be kicked out. I had an ok time with girls but excelled when i went to college in both the girls and education side. Felt after school i needed to buck up my ideas and sort my shit out!

 

Yep, that totally happened.

 

I understand but my teens and twenties were truly horrible. I became my own man in my 30s. That is the demographic that should have the loudest voice!!

 

I didnt have a particular group. I was the go between. I was friends with everyone. I was an athlete and played every sport, so i was friends with the Jocks. i was friends with all the stoners as well, the guys who hung out on the corner accross the street from school property and smoked before and after every day. i didnt smoke but every once in a while i would stop at the corner and hang out with them as i passed walking to school. They knew i didnt smoke but they would always offer me a smoke and i’d say, “ nah i’m good i just had some” they thought it was hillarious. I was in all the advanced classes but i was far from an A student. I was cool with all the teachers. But the janitors (custodians) were my boys. I made sure i always helped them when i saw them putting up tables or chairs, and durring my study halls i would usually just walk around the school and hang out. I would always stop by their office and chill with them.They had keys to the vending machines and the leftover food from lunch in the cafeteria. And they let me have them whenever i wanted. I was friends with everybody in my grade and the lower grades too. But i kinda was a loner i never really hung out with more than one or two people.

 

Luckily I had a girlfriend like you in high school, she loved to fuck as much as I did !!!

 

So I got my kid’s report card today. Yikes! He definitely takes after his dad when it comes to school lol. I was the nerdy, shy girl in all the advanced classes, on the honour roll, and teacher’s pet. He hates school. It’s all about sports, football, and gym. He puts in the least amount of effort he can into academics, which is so hard for me to understand. I loved school.

 

Granddaughter is a junior, love that kid, she is so darn smart! I love talking to her ...asking questions and love her answers...math, language science...Amazing how good kids are today...absolutely nothing like I was.

 

I was smart but didn't try at all. (This carried over into most of my college years. Now when I take a class I won't accept less than an A from myself.) I had a big group of friends, most of whom I'm still friends with, but we weren't the popular kids. I got along with everyone and always had a boyfriend. I was a swimmer and a pom pon girl. By my junior year all of my siblings were married and out of the house, and both of my parents worked at night. I don't think I need to tell you much more than that. lol

 

I probably already mentioned it in this thread, I was the long haired burnout in the denim jacket with patches on the back.

For me, I was nerdy as well. I had maybe two friends and kept to myself. I knew some of the popular crowd but never socialized alot. I played junior basketball but wasnt any good (no senior). I tried to take the good road and never hung out with wrong crowd. I failed out of english class and had to make up credit in late night before graduating. Never went to prom.

 

I was selling cartons of cigarettes that fell off the truck once a week, and took orders for the brands they wanted. I sold football cards and also took bets. I had a few kids doing my homework and writing my book reports. I also sold nylons and pantyhose to the girls and some of the boys bought them for their mothers, along with the smokes.

The thing I’m most proud of was out of a class of 260 juniors I ranked 260. I wasn’t invited back for my senior year, but I was still selling my smokes. Oh! I also sold nickel bags. Lol

 

I hate to say it but I’m not sure I’ve changed all that much. I was very shy and reserved then and tried my best to not be noticed by anyone.
Didn’t help that I was the new kid and didn’t really know anybody either.
I’ve spent a long time (most of) my life feeling like i don’t fit in and nobody would miss me if I wasn’t around.

 

@Aqua Marine Ditto! All through school I skated through every class but still managed mostly B’s sprinkled with a few C’s, graduated HS with an academic major!

Then I went to work, fucked around for four years, got married and woke up to the fact that I fucked up. Night school for 12 years, never got less than an A, it was a bitch, but I managed.

Honestly, I can not say that my fucking around was worth it, I wasted too many opportunities.

I think of my High School years as pleasant memories.
